COACH DAVID MONZON

B.S. Sport and Exercise Science

I began my fitness journey 10 years ago with my own body transformation. During this time I fell in love with fitness and human performance. The passion and knowledge I quickly displayed prompted others to seek my guidance. It drew people to me like a flag. I began training others for fun and soon after entered the fitness world as a trainer at Bally Total Fitness. Ever striving to learn more about the field I love I later attended University of Central Florida where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport and Exercise Science. While at UCF I worked with UCF’s Strength and Conditioning Coaches, assisted in training UCF’s athletic teams, and also competed in both powerlifting, strongman, and various other fitness competitions. I earned two intramural championships along the way. Upon graduation I immediately had a clear vision to follow my dream and began to build my own gym. Prime Strength and Fitness was born on June 2, 2013.
